Antique Italian Signed OIL PAINTING Portrait of an Ancient Roman Woman FRAMED

  
For your consideration is a genuine original antique Italian oil painting. It is a beautiful portrait of an Ancient Roman woman. Signed by the artist to the lower right corner. The signature looks like'Lucy', I have shown it in a close up photo. The painting comes presented in a very ornate plaster frame, which has been painted to look like burr walnut. It also has felt lining in the middle, and a convex acrylic over the artwork. This work dates from the early to mid 1900s. The painting measures 11.5cm high by 8.5cm wide. It's in excellent condition with no damage at all.

The frame measures 25cm high by 22cm wide. It's in very good condition for its age, with one chip to the gilt paint along the bottom edge. I have shown this area in a close up photo. This is a stunning work, and in the ornate frame it looks amazing on display! I always include high quality photos to clearly show the condition.
